Conclusion: It was a perfectly normal picture with nothing obvious to argue about or criticize. It was also not an especially inspiring or thought-provoking one. The epitome of [i]nice[/i].

Same here, and never with the naked eye...too close to the trees...needed my scope with computer software, and even then some adjustments... But got my pic of it!!!! :D

My wife and I saw Mercury yesterday, on the way home from a restaurant! There was Venus, and something else, about a degree away! When I got home I looked it up, and by gum it was Mercury! I've only seen Mercury a handful of times in my life.
