Getting darker and darker in the night of the three. As you can spot in the image, the planets Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter (in this order from left to right) appear in an image to remember. It was taken from a hut at almost 3000 metres high. You can see, how Jupiter ends up being right on top of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the European Union. I have been planning this shot for ages to have those three planets, the milky way and also the Perseids (which do not show up in this image) together!

Several photos were taken with two diferente exposures, in order to show details on the Bright side and dark disk (earthshine) of the Moon. The Pictures were processed and combined using the softwares Autostakkert, PIPP and Photoshop.

Hi All
Here is a 15min stacked background image of Orion, blended with a 2min foreground image from Natural Bridges Oregon.
This was taken on March the 11th with a Canon Ra, and 14mm Samyang lens. ISO 10000 for the stars and 1600 for the foreground.
Each sky shot was 20s unguided.
I took this while on a few days break in Southern Oregon. Getting into this position meant clambering over tree roots and across narrow arches, with the Ocean on either side of a very narrow pathway.
Thanks Tom

With time on my hands during this stay-at-home period (and more processing experience under my belt) I have taken a moment to revisit the best data I managed to capture last year.

Seeing was the best I have ever experienced that evening, a very memorable experience. As a result, a great deal of detail could be resolved from the data, almost from pole to pole.

This image also happened to be acquired shortly after a "blade" of orange cloud had been torn away from the Great Red Spot (GRS) - fine tendril of orange can be seen returning down the South Tropical Zone (STZ). The GRS itself is still slightly distorted in shape from the event.

Also shown are the moons Io (top left), Callisto (bottom left) and Europa (middle right). The exposure of the moons was adjusted separately to Jupiter to allow Callisto (with its much lower albedo) to be seen. The moons were adjusted together, however, to demonstrate their relative brightness.

Imaging location: Singapore

Equipment
Telescope: Celestron C11 XLT
Camera: ZWO ASI290MC
Barlow: Tele Vue PowerMate 2x
Filter: Astronomik UV-IR Block L-Filter T2
Other: ZWO ADC

Software
FireCapture, AutoStakkert, Registax, WinJUPOS, Astra Image PLUS, Photoshop

Milky Way core over Fortaleza Canyon.
This night photography section at Canion Fortaleza was one of the most technically challenging I have ever participated in. Due to the fog that covered the 900 meters deep of this Canyon, the humility of the air was so great that it fogged the lenses before the end of the captures. Getting images with the landscape well exposed was an arduous task but we managed to produce some beautiful images.

This lake close to the city of Ostrava in Czech Republic is one of my most favorite places I always love to visit. It is way better when I can observe and photograph this beautiful play between Moon and Venus, which took a place tonight.
