Eclipsed Moon in Infrared

Hi - I guess I have three questions resulting from the APOD http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap050423.html infrared image of the Moon during an eclipse: 1) Is there any publicly available high-quality hyperspectral imagery (similar to AVIRIS) for the Moon, Mars, or other planetary bodies acquired from Earth or Mars orbiting spacecraft or surface Mars rovers?, 2) Has temporal thermography-like analysis of the Moon, Mars, etc. been undertaken where the rate of cooling (after sunset or an eclipse) is used to infer hints as to surface composition and, in the case of Mars surface rovers, suggest specific areas on boulders etc. for interesting X-Ray fluorescence spectroscopy analyses?, and 3) Beyond describing the bright spots as "warm areas" in the above APOD image, are there any estimates as to the class of materials responsible for the bright spots such metallic/conductor, insulators, high/low heat capacity, and even specific compounds?
