If you wait till about the 24th or so of this month, the moon will be very near venus. If you spot the moon during the day, you will find venus in the day time too

You know what, i think it is Venus, i wasn't sure because i didn't think it started to rise in the morning till about April.

Thanks.

New star?

by Em » Tue Mar 07, 2006 11:25 am

I am in the ACT (Australia) does anyone know anything about a very bright - the brightest - star that can be seen in the skies at around 4:30 in the morning? I noticed it about 4-6 weeks ago. Does it have anything to do with RS Ophiuci which was documented on APOD February 24, 2006?

Thanks,

Em
