Harry,

Entropy must increase. I am not saying you are incorrect nor am I saying the BB model is entirely correct. However, the Laws of Thermal Dynamics must be addressed by any theory.

Actually, it was not an image of space that she seen during her trip to the Vega system. It was after that just prior to her return. She was taken to a location (undisclosed) where she witnessed something extra-ordinary. That sadly was left to the viewers imagination. My impression (for some reason)...

Correct me if I am wrong but before anything even approaches the event horizon it has already fell victim to spegitification. All of it's atoms have been stretched and torn apart before even reaching the event horizon. Due to the extreme gravitational forces. This is what you would see =String chees...

I am not so Anti-religion that I cannot logically discuss religious subject matter using the self-correcting process of science. A mixing of the two is only natural in a effort to understand one's entire surroundings. The path to enlightment is not always a scientific one.

No millions of years -Lock thread reply

I used to look forward to your posts Makc. :( Do we forget that it also was not too long ago that one dare not mention science in a religious land of law. Have we come full circle? What is gained by always ignoring the Old World View? After all it is the parent of science. And I enjoy the company of...

The question evokes uncertainty and it is difficult to adhere to any field of science when answering it in way that corresponds to fact or reality.

You can refer to theories/speculation if you wish but you are clearly avoiding the question. Too bad someone didn't ask you earlier in the thread -it would have saved you some typing, eh?

Incredible when you think about the energy released. Truly the largest most violent explosion known to exist. Every time you see one pause for a moment of silence.....
