Eight months ago I took this photo and I process is intended to favor the dust in the area. It really is a quite dirty, but the Rosette, remains very attractive, even though the photo, which was not as expected. :( http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7vzn7OFvTp4/TDJyER0rW7I/AAAAAAAAAOU/lbCUdKSrdvg/s1600/Final...

Congratulations to Rogelio for this one extraordinary mosaic. He has become an expert in this work as thorough and elegant, as the simple union of two or more heavenly photos are very complicated, but in it are 12 frames together, that's a very high degree of difficulty. That image of 143 VdB Cepheus, made by Mr. Ratto, must be seen in large size and appreciate and cosmic dust. A very beautiful image.
If there is a "profile of a girl" in M16, sure will also find a "profile of a ape" in M17. Another image also beautiful.

Although it looks delicate, the 10 light-year diameter bubble offers evidence of violent processes. The universe always surprises to me, but years ago when I first saw a photo of this nebula, I was droolling, as it was possible formation of that nature? Now, I know the data of 10 light-years diamet...

Hello Owlice: Your words leave a good taste of inspiration. If Earth was in Cancer from the viewpoint of MESSENGER, there's no way Aldebaran (in Taurus) could possibly be in the same image. It would be far out of the field of view. Getting the scale from this image is difficult. The MESSENGER site c...

Hi Fabrizio:
2600 above sea level is a good height for astrophotography.
You must be very cold, but take away a lot humidiy the environment.
I see that you can still stretch a bit more this picture.
Greetings
