Starship Asterisk*

This looks more like a series of beaches from an ocean or a lake that was higher at one time and subsided over many millenia. I've seen this sort of thing near Great Salt Lake in Utah and the pacific coast just north of Santa Cruz.

I find this picture a bit hard to believe. Look at the shadow of the shuttle on the clouds. It is so straight and undistorted it appears that the shadow is being projected on a very flat, uniform screen. How could the clouds behind the shuttle be that uniform?

I find it really hard to believe that with today's linguists nobody can recognize the text and translate it. How could a written language of only 500 years ago be now lost? The writing looks vaguely like the scripts I saw in Burma during the tour I was on for the 1988 solar eclipse.

If you look closely at the purported "fake" picture you can see the engine exhaust strung out behind the plane and covering the moon's surface. I don't believe this pic is faked.
