Might as well give them names. Othgerwise they would have to be given a number. Who knows; some day Remus may be a hot property for a future prospector!!!???

After reviewing the facts. I see that the belt appears after sunset or before sunrise in almost all directions including opposite the sun. I must agree that it has to be the moon.

Aug 9 apod moon?

Judging from the piers shadow in the water, I would guess that it is the sun. The moon would not be full setting behind the sun. Just my opinion.

Lagoon Nebula

This isn't very scientific; but I want to say this about this nebula. Wow; look at all the stars. see how beautiful this nebula is. The sights in the galaxy make wonderful art.

objedt large than Pluto

with all the objects in solar orbit; the planets, the asteriods, the moons, the comets; the kuiper belt objects; etc. leads one to believe that would be the normal throughout the galaxi.

If the corona is five light years across; than the satr itself must look larger than what it actually is. Can someone enlighten me?

Hi! I agree with Larry from Canada. I also noticed what looked like Ice in some of the craters.
