Art, Where Art Thou?
An Art, possibly slightly Mad, is missing. Much missed. Was last seen commenting on eclipsed Moon in the morning and rats displaying human-like empathy.
Slightly Mad but missing Art possesses an astonishing range of knowledge, and will alternatively confuse, enlighten, flabbergast, provoke and liven up his surroundings.
Slightly Mad Art has recently jumped ship from Starship Asterisk*. Starship Asterisk* has thereafter lost much of its lustre as its quirky comedian/universal jack-of-all-trades knowledge man has gone missing.
Any information of the whereabouts of slightly Mad Art should be sent to Starship Asterisk*. If possible, missing Mad Art should be brought back aboard, too.

Re: Art, Where Art Thou?
The good news is that he's still posting elsewhere, so he hasn't kicked the bucket just yet (always a concern with the geezers). The bad news is that his postings elsewhere are quite mad, so perhaps the remaining marbles are rolling away.Ann wrote:An Art, possibly slightly Mad, is missing.

Just me or did this thread get a little awkward?
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.

I miss Art, too! Where else does he post?

He's pretty active on h.l.a.s (if you don't recognize the notation, it won't help anyway; the "s" is for Shakespeare).Sam wrote:I miss Art, too! Where else does he post?

I was wondering if something had happened to him. I'm glad to hear that he is OK.

I was hoping Art might be back by now! I wonder if he will be eventually!

Re: Art, Where Art Thou?
So why don't you send him a note asking him to resume posting?
I've been on message boards for a long time, have seen people come and go, and know that people have various reasons for curtailing their posting, including spending their time on other things, illness, family issues, general busyness, vacation and travel, giving up posting for a period of time for Lent/penance/etc., and loss of interest. A wondering "gee, I haven't seen [whois] around for a while" post is one thing, and I understand concern about another poster's well-being (boy, do I ever!), but a thread such as this seems terribly close to inviting gossip about the person.
