Jupiter and Venus conjunction
Website: http://ofpink.wordpress.com/
Copyright: Stefano De Rosa Photo taken before dawn on May 11, 2011 and showing the conjunction between Jupiter and Venus. The two brightest planets were less than one degree apart in the twilight colored sky above the Langhe (the area in the Northwest of Italy that is world-wide famous for its wines).

I took the picture from La Morra a village some 60 kilometers from Turin. In the center of the photo is visible the Cathedral of Alba.

Best regards

Stefano

Yesterday's and today's planetary conjunction shots. I drove down to the Tweed River at Tumbulgum, far north coast NSW, for yesterdays, but today I was lazy and shot from the verandah window.
