The Witch Head Nebula (IC 2118).

I have been wanting to shoot this for years but never had good weather or the right gear at the right time. I went for it this week and barely got it after being stopped by frost the first night, interrupted by clouds the second, and bothered by wind the third night. Tough time of year.

IC 1805 Nebula "Heart Nebula"
Description from Wikipedia: The Heart Nebula, IC 1805, Sharpless 2-190, lies some 7500 light years away from Earth and is located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. This is an emission nebula showing glowing gas and darker dust lanes. The nebula is formed by plasma of ionized hydrogen and free electrons.

Just the beautiful constellation of winter sky at Hungary.
Easy to see even from the cities centre. But this time, i went to the Zselic Darkskypark, to take a photo of this constellation.
Photosop used only for contrast boosting.

I used Canon EOS6D with Canon 50/1.4 USM lens. This is one picture - ISO10000, f2:0, 8sec - plus starfilter
