ISS Photos

Post by eaglegolfj » Sat Jun 25, 2011 9:01 am

Although the pics are amazing I just got one question. Who is taking the dang photo? Is it one of the crew members out there in a jet suit or what? Just asking.

Which APOD (what date) are you referring to?
I, for one, like Roman numerals.

I can only assume eaglegolfj was referring to APOD: Space Shuttle and Space Station Photographed Together (2011 June 08), in which case, the answer is in the explanation. The photo was taken from the Soyuz TMA-20 as it was departing the ISS.

@orin: We do, it's called "The Bridge: Discuss an Astronomy Picture of the Day". Just post your question to the discussion of the appropriate APOD, but you already knew that.
