AMUSE: Astrophysical Multipurpose Software Environment

Abstract: AMUSE is a software framework for large-scale simulations of dense stellar systems, in which existing codes for dynamics, stellar evolution, and hydrodynamics can be easily coupled and placed in the appropriate observational context.
