Abstract: CMBview is a viewer for FITS files containing HEALPix sky maps. Sky maps are projected onto a 3d sphere which can be rotated and zoomed interactively with the mouse. Features include:
- rendering of the field of Stokes vectors
- ray-tracing mode in which each screen pixel is projected onto the sphere for high quality rendering
- control over sphere lighting
- export an arbitrarily large rendered texture
- variety of preset colormaps
