It looks like a jellyfish. It would look like an eagle to me, except it's feet are a little on the long side. So a jelly fish.

Any video available? The really amazing part of auroras I have seen is the way they move as if alive! The classic view is curtains moving in a breeze, but subtle smaller changes really do appear to illustrate living motion.

A soul - streaming through the threshold of heaven.
One of the angel’s wings is clearly shown on the left hand side, just beneath the shock-wave.

The aurora looks like a winged angel with flowing hair. Near the top is the angel's face looking to the left, with hair flowing off to the left above the left wing.

I see the face of a woman. She is facing right, and she has a feathered hat on and a cowl around her neck. But I must admit I also see the eagle.

It is the Banshee from that magical movie "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" and she would terrify any 7 or 8 year old.

Disney owns the rights but that could really do with a proper remake. And Spielberg is the man to do it because he understands 8 year olds.

Hahaha, I like that idea. The eagle is very prominent in the image, but I think of the Aurora as a large snowdrift that is green.

Not the typical circle tree, but a tree that is waving happily in the wind!

Year ring data is translated into music, 2011.
Modified turntable, computer, vvvv, camera,
acrylic glass, veneer, approx. 90x50x50 cm.

A tree’s year rings are analysed for their strength, thickness and rate of growth. This data serves as basis for a generative process that outputs piano music. It is mapped to a scale which is again defined by the overall appearance of the wood (ranging from dark to light and from strong texture to light texture). The foundation for the music is certainly found in the defined ruleset of programming and hardware setup, but the data acquired from every tree interprets this ruleset very differently.

Talk about dancing to the beat of a different (wooden) drummer :!: Do they have any 'livelier' trees to make records from :?: Interesting, but i don't think that they would sell to many.

I like this. I thought it looked like the comedy mask from those comedy-tragedy masks from the theatre, but yours is much more elegant.

It is the name of a prayer revealed to the Last Prophet and contains many names of the Creator. For more information look here http://www.islamekseni.com/english/id9.html

I thought it was very appropriate for this photo of Aurora.

This reminds me of the cover of the book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince =) At any rate, it could be the cover for my copy of the HBP :D OR it could be the cover of Philip Pullman's book, The Nortern Lights:) it is more convenient for it, actually.
