december 8th object over mahukona county park

at 6:30 pm on dec 8th i was camping at mahukona county park. a very bright object came out of the south west going north east.it took about 5 seconds to go across the sky.it did not look like a plane or satellite. my friend john seen it also. i was never able to find out about it. i was reading drudge and found that other people had seen it on another night.
