A big THANK YOU!!

Post by Deadhead Archer » Thu Jun 16, 2005 6:55 pm

First post at this BBS, but I had to register and say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for 10 years of APOD!

I have been a constant reader daily for the past +6 years, it's in my Must Read list as otherwise I miss my APOD fix. I refer people to the site every chance I get.

Robert and Jerry (and everyone else involved), thanks for your time and dedication! :D

Congratulations Jerry and Robert!!

Thank you for 10 wonderful years of APOD. In addition to the glorious pictures, I really appreciate your captions. Even a non-scientist like myself can understand them and the links you provide within the captions provide a wealth of information. I always start my day with APOD!

Best wishes from another of your fans....

I set up an account here just to offer my appreciation. APOD is my browser start page; a daily check of it is necessary to my mental health. Thank you.

Hi I'm Mike.
Since I've been aware of the APOD I visit it every day.
It's the only site that I visit on a daily basis.
If I think I've missed a day, I check the archives.
I wouldn't want to miss one amazing pixel.
Thanks so much for all the hard work.

More people saying nice stuff: [1] and [2]

How hard it is to notice this thread? I think I am going to change its title.

And here is direct link to APOD a day before the one you have found. And it's still online. If you do not realize this, everything is still in place. Here's oldest available article.

Congratulations to all of you that work on APOD. It is one of the most, if not THE most, impressive collections of astronomical pictures, and information in the world.

Keep up the good work!!!

I was busy away on a vacation and missed the day.

But I'd still like to congratulate Robert Nemiroff and Jerry Bonnell on a beautiful site and job well done.

I still go to APOD every day after 7 years of knowing its existence. Way to go

Late, yes, yes, but I have to post.

Thank you for everything!!!
And fighting time, so hard I pray that this moment lasts forever.
And will the world stay standing still, at least for me.
Through my eyes stare into me, I bear my heart for all to see
With my face turned to the sun there ever standing still.
