This site has been a very significant force in spreading knowledge of astronomy among the general population (as well as countless screen savers) over the years. We owe you and your supporters a sincere and heartfelt thank you for this site.

Oh my stars! Has it been twenty five five years already? APOD has made life so much richer and rewarding for so many folks world over it is really quite an astonishing achievement, coming from one who has been there from the beginning. Best wishes for the next twenty five years, looking forward to celebrating the fiftieth anniversary assuming I make it to 97 yoa and we will have the internet on Mars. Sincere thanks to all the team. Congrats! I checked APOD daily for years, then got away from it for 2-3 years, then got caught up a few weeks ago after checking 15 APODs per day for several weeks while off work from the pandemic. I'm back to checking it daily now!

Many years ago I was in hospital for a bit over a year, the first website I visited once I was back home and had online access was APOD - my every day starts with your awesome site! Thanks.
