re todays (26-05-2006) picture of the globular cluster Omega Centauri
Has any one drawn, or knows of, an artists impression of the night sky from the centre of a globular cluster. If so are there any links to it. It would make an interesting follow up for APOD.

I'm not much of an artist, but here's my rendition of the sky as it would appear to an observer on a planet similar to Earth whose star lies near the center of Omega Centauri:

The best good globular cluster visualizations I could find are from the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, USA:

Hello All

The link http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/newsde ... 19/image/a

Talks about the early universe.

It implies that the universe was formed by the big band. The big bang is only a theory and although it is the standard model people should not assume that it is law.

Until we get more info we must leave our options open.

Everything in science is "only a theory", so calling the Big Bang Theory a theory in no way calls into question its credibility. Also bear in mind that there's no such thing as a scientific "law" (despite some things being poorly named as such).
