Physicists may not know what dark matter is, but they're getting a better idea of what it's not. Data from NASA's orbiting Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope puts a crimp in particle theorists' favored explanation of the mysterious stuff whose gravity holds the galaxies together, ruling out a hefty range of masses for the hypothesized particles, a team announced this week. Curiously, the result comes not from the Fermi team itself, but from other particle astrophysicists who analyzed the Fermi data.

"Told you so" about what? Maybe if the article said that dark matter was made of electricity... but no, it just says they still don't know.

Is it a fact there are other dimensions?

How do those other dimensions interact with our dimension?

If a quantum electron particle can be entangled over billions of light years. can it be entangled in other dimensions?

Can Gravity be entangled?

Is there fade in, fade out matter? Matter that can change dimensions?

If our dimension is over laid by other dimensions, is gravity A dimensional entity and explains the weak force. The strong force of gravity has been split into different dimensions?

What do any of those questions have to do with this article?

I'm glad they are, because anybody who would say that would be entirely missing the point of the article. Despite the title, this research doesn't argue against the existence of dark matter. It only serves to weed away some of the DM theories. Obviously, that needs to happen. There are many areas where a phenomenon is observed but multiple theories are available to explain it. It is the job of science to devise tests that eliminate some theories and support others, getting us closer to the truth.
