I like the top one. The bottom one strains the visual spatial portion of my brain. :doh:

FWIW, these images were constructed using the same method as the Saturn "digital projection" previously discussed. A 2D image is mathematically mapped onto a 3D model (previously determined for the surface features, and presumably synthesized for the dust cloud) and then re-rendered as a 2D image with a different perspective or point-of-view.

Garden variety CGI, used in just about every big budget movie these days.
