A few weeks ago I timelapsed a storm over central SD. I caught Sprites, Gravity Waves, Air Glow and Aurora on it. I posted some stills and the timelapse to my site.

Underneath the Cygnus with Satellite Glint
Camera: unmodified Canon 1100D @ 50mm prime lens on motorized EQ3
Exposure: ~5 minutes @ ISO 1600
The North America nebula dominates the frame but the Cirrus nebula is also clearly visible.
I didn't look it up but it could be an Iridium - doesn't really matter :)

Taken with the Canon 200mm lens at f2.8 and a ML8300 camera

This region of rich star clouds and dark dust will form the canvas for the close approach of Mars and Comet Siding Spring in October 2014.
Taken not so far from Siding Spring Observatory at Pilliga Nature Reserve near Coonabarabran, NSW, Australia, with a Canon EOS 60D and 100mm lens, 51 minutes total exposure.
