The AAS 233rd meeting started Sunday evening in Seattle, Washington; pre-meeting sessions started on Saturday.

The science program for the meeting is available in several formats offering different levels of detail; the block schedule is on Google docs, and the online schedule is here.

For those interested, you can follow the meeting in various ways even from a distance:
I'm exhausted and my feet hurt, so I'll leave you with a photo of RJN cutting the massive cake we had at an ASCL-sponsored/organized session on astronomy software, this to celebrate the ASCL's 20th anniversary. I had no idea the cake would be so massive; it was also really delicious!

You said it was massive, but having RJN for scale really helps to show how truly massive it was.

I wanted cake for all, and boy howdy, I got it!

The meeting ended tonight with a reception; I did not win any door prizes, darn it, though my hopes peaked when, for the grand prize CCD camera, Alex someone's name was called. The moment before the "x" in "Alex"... ! So close, so close!
