Second object in 050629 APOD?

In the June 29th 2005 APOD, what must be comet Tempel I is a bright spot with a fuzzy halo. The commentary doesn't discuss a second bright object -- what is it? One of the planets?

Highest probability is that it is a star.
Maybe a planet in our solar system, and there after it drops off into highly imaginative possibilities.
