I think not, and I suggest that if a video is to feature it should be off a link from the pictures site.

I agree that there should never be an embedded video on the main page. Every APOD should be a "P". But there's nothing wrong with linking to a video.

I've made this suggestion before, apparently to deaf ears. So don't expect a change <g>.

Hi, Big fan of apod but notice recent trend for video instead of pictures.

I think not, and I suggest that if a video is to feature it should be off a link from the pictures site.

I hope the site designer has not forgotten that not every device accessing the page can play video.
