M65 with recently disovered Super Nova on March 23rd unfortunately my imaging camera had tech. issues now being sent for repairs. A supernova (PSN J11185695+1303494) has been reported in the Galaxy M65, it is still brightening, increasing from magnitude 16.4 to 15.8. Discovered by M. Sugano, Kakogawa, Hyogo-ken, Japan using 0.35-m f/11.0 Schmidt-Cassegrain on March 21st, 2013.

Beijing is not a good place for comets, however its atmosphere is still ok for moonlight. Being frustrated in looking for the L4 comet at downtown, an airplane flew over the moon just in front of my lens gave me some comfort.
The full moon tonight is just beautiful.
