THANKS MAKC

This is the mpg file i was talking about
http://rapidshare.de/files/11648218/com ... 3.mpg.html

It's a 1.9 meg file so it might take a little while to download if you are on 56k dial-up, about 8 minutes.

I have copies of the original .MPG files. Is there a way to post these here? They don't seem to work through the image hosting site.

Well,
Another one bites the dust. look at the LASCO-C3 and LASCO-C2 mpg files. Another cool sight. It will probably only appear 01-06-06 and 01-07-06. so look fast.

well it doesn't appear to show up very well in any but the 051114 c3.mpg file. it was much more impressive in the daily mpeg files on 11-16-05. This was a combination of the 11-13, 11-14, 11-15, 11-16 files in large format.

It's posts like this that make me want to get high speed internet.
But I get the idea from the great description that BMA gives. Thanks! :)

Have this one marked for when I get near a high speed wireless link for the notebook.

DEATH OF A COMET

In the LASCO C3 and LASCO C2 for 11-13/11-14-05 there is a disappearing comet that's on its final orbit of the sun. You see it in enter the occulting disk area in the "C3" mpeg for 11-14-05 but it doesn't exit. If you look at the "C2" mpeg file, you also see it enter the frame then dissentigrate at about the 9:00 position.

then scroll down to the 11-14-05 mpegs
