Hi Dave! I'm more apt to believe in multiple bangs. I believe that the universe goes on forever. that There are parts that are so far out that we will never be able to perceive them. I believe that the universe is like a gigantic pin wheel like the atom the solar system the galaxies. Seems to run a ...

Thank you! That is what I suspected; but I wasn't sure. You explained it well enough. In other words the gasses left over when other stars die can condense in new stars. If a star is pure; [first generation] wouldn't it tend to have a longer life span???

To me; the inner parts of the nebula look like explosions. The outer concentric rings remind me of shock waves. much like the ripples when you drop a stone into water.

Jupiter's clouds from Cassini

Somewhere I read that Jupiter was a Brown Dwarf. Does this mean that it is a failed star?
It is also larger than the other eight planets put together

Given the fact that such an explosion is so vast; that nearby stars and their systems must be greatly affected. What kind of an affect would this have on life forms on nearby systems?

If the stars are all moving together along the same direction. would this tend to keep them apart? Kind of like the shot out of a shotgun? After all; we are moving through space.

What keeps the stars apart? Are they by any chance in orbit around the clusters core? Seems at though they wouled converge in toward the cores center.

I hope this doesn't stray from the subject too much. This may not be as profound or as deep; but if we can see 13 billion light years in front of us and 13 billion years in back of us; doesn't that put the visible universe as 26 billion years? Also we probably aren't in the center; so maybe we can o...

If you were in a car going 60 miles an hour; and compared that to the speed of light. That would make Earth 8 1/2 miles back. How far can you drive in over four years non stop? So my wayward planet would be lost is space for a long time. Still I believe in the possibility.

I was thinking about stars that may be few light years apart. There must be planets out there that may be so far out that they could be caught in orbit around two stars. The large planet in the three star system seems to be more logical for a three star orbit.
