Sedimentary layers?
I, like AI, was struck by the layering in the APOD photo and thought "sediment!". Eager to find out more, I was eventually directed to this forum. It's nice to see there's some excitement about the matter. I have followed JohnD's reasoning against AI's proposition, but I still think there'...
