Hello,

the Galaxy Zoo project reminds me of the situation in high energy physics in the 60s. At that time the tracks left behind by particles were analyzed by humans as well. Nowadays this is done with computers.

True, at least to my knowledge, Faraday did not have much of a mathematical education. But he published a lot of experimental results that other people could reproduce. And based on his findings other people finally found the mathematical framework that Faraday could not. So, if you know of some exp...
