a question about APOD

If I'm free, I will read APOD everyday. But there is a question I've wanted to ask. You see, at the end of every passage, there is a link to tomorrow's picture. But if I want to see "yesterday's picture", I have to "search" the picture I want. So the question is, is there any eas...

Forgive me to ask such a silly question.
Why did the Jupiter look so bright in the picture?

Re: Favorite APOD

well, I found this web on June 8th, 2009. Since then, I have never missed any picture.
In my opinion, it is really hard to say which one is the best, but the one that gave me the deepest impression was this~

It is said that the image includes three parts. Which one could we see using our eyes?

Re: About China's total solar eclipse

Congratulations on travelling to China (unless of course, you live there) to view the eclipse. I'm sure it was impressive! Too bad your image did not come out well enough to share. *Sometimes I think I live in the wrong hemisphere(s), since next year will make the third eclipse in as many years for...

About China's total solar eclipse

Wonderful!!
I am in Shanghai, and you?
Though it was cloudy this morning, I still saw the total solar eclipse for some minutes.
When the moon covered the sun, the sky blackened.
It's a pity that the picture I took was not really clearly...
But I am sure I will remenber today forever.

Fermi's Gamma-ray Pulsars (2009 July 9)

I have a question about the cosmic microwave backgroud radiation... I once heard that the red means the light run out of the space with lossing less energy, so there is less matter. On the contrary, the blue means there is more matter. Is it right? Or it is just a mistake?
