Was there supposed to be a commercial pop up ad for Qatar Airways in the video? The really annoying thing is that it blocked out the text of where Matt was dancing. :(

Now, I may be blind in one eye and can't see out of the other but I can't see anything that would indicate a definitive land mass. So I'm going to take a WAG and say it's the southern Pacific Ocean with the possibility of the Antarctic in the lower left corner. Probably nowhere near there. :facepal...

Is NASA actively controlling its flight path using stored fuel, or have they just planned SO far ahead with orbit insertion (and done it with SUCH precision) that the trajectory (including all these scheduled flyby...

Is it my imagination or does that moon look transparent? :o I'm assuming the speckled look is because it is an unprocessed photo.

It would appear to me from the angle that the adjoining balcony is viewed and the concrete wall that can be seen in the left of http://apod.nasa.gov/image/0908/IMG_9802.JPG that Noemi is standing inside the building taking the photos at an oblique angle (As Heiko, guessing close to 45 degrees.) to t...
