APOD is my home page. Quite often, after studying the picture for a bit, then reading the text, I want to restudy the picture. In my case, in other words, the text makes me want to study the picture as much as the other way around.

Orin Stepanek, Resident Geezer, voiced my initial thought quite well. If one really applies the "cleared out its orbital path" criterion, how many planets does Sol have?

"Greek Ikaria islands" - So, the sun is also in this picture (through headstrong, headlong Icarus). That's an unusual concept for a lunar eclipse photo.
