2,000 a week! Sure . . with a digital camera. My first photos were with a hand-me-down folding camera that used 116 roll film. I had to save up enough money to buy a roll of film, black and white of course, and got eight shots on a roll. Then, took the film to the drug store to get it developed. Tha...

My door doesn’t seem to be a jar. What kind of jar do you have? None of my doors have a lid. I can see through all of my jars. Besides, what good is a door if you can see through it?

The galaxy appears to have at least two (or more) spiral arms. Why has only one seem to have been drawn out by the tidal forces and not the others as well? Any explanations or theories? (This is the best image yet of Arp 188. Great job of processing.)

I’m curious about the dates “July 26, 63139”, “Sept 17, 13425”, and “March 27, 224508”. If those are years, they will be a long time from 2014! Am I missing something? By the way, excellent images. Jason Jennings has been long overdue for an APOD for many years now! APOD is not a contest, however much some people want to think it is, and no one is "due" an APOD. That stupid notion needs to die; please do not resuscitate it. Thanks. Okay, you made your point. I don’t believe, though,...
