It´s a little confusing to watch the nightsky "upside down", but surely the bright star in this picture is Procyon not Sirius. Sirius is to high north to be inside the frame. Sirius would also shine clearly stronger then Rigel. http://www.everythingselectric.com/images/winter-triangle-sta...
