Re: 2009 April 21 - global warming

A computer simulation is experimental science in the truest sense. The simulation is nothing more than a numerical solution of a physical system (this is done all the time, from the trivial, like calculating the speed of a falling body, to the complex, like calculating the position of a planet, to ...

Re: 2009 April 21 - global warming

If one side has 100,000 skewed studies and the other side has 100,001, that does not constitute a win. It reminds me of a story. A grade school classroom was given a gift of a fluffy, long haired baby bunny. With the task of assigning a name for their new mascot they had to determine if it was a boy...

No, they can't tell where it's coming from without modern analysis. Most of the arctic soot comes from south Asia (an area that the locals didn't even know existed until a one or two hundred years ago), and determining that fact took a fair bit of effort involving modern instrumentation and analyti...

No theory can be proved, only dis-proved. So your argument is: because the limits of data and data interpretation on AGW cannot prove an increasing trend of of ∆t (an unprovable point), resolves as: without proof positive, we as owners of this planet should halt collection of data on this heresy, hu...
