largest star Pismis-1 from Aug 30, 2020

I thought canis majoris was the biggest star in the heavens. I remember on APOD sometime ago, when you started out showing the sun, then went on a movie showing stars as they were bigger, showing stars to scale. pass the ice cold one.

What is the highest altitude ever ascended by a glider? I think, if I remember right, a P51 Mustang, got to 40,000 feet. Pass the ice cold one.

I tried that w/my Nikon 3300 at 48 degrees North, 122 degrees West and I got a nice picture of star trails around Polaris. By the way, is laser light a sign wave with very high amplitude? pass the ice cold one.

When it goes super nova, I hope cameras are pointing towards where Planet 9 is expected to be and that maybe it would capture any light reflected back to the camera and re find Planet 9 that way. Is it possible to photograph Canis Majoris?

The town where I live now has installed LED lights all over the city, pretty much wiping out stars at night. Can you tell from the Space Station that city lights are brighter?
