The refraction in atmospheric layers, reflected in the waters is forcing me to look further into the definition and meaning of the two words. The Asterisk uses them extensively but until now they were just technical terms from scholars who did know what they were talking about. Light being refracted...

There are some guys that can hit a ball a fare distance. I look at today's picture and can't help but think on the other side of this small world is the word Titleist. It is almost round enough and the dimples seem about right.

AE Aurigae. That left me wondering if it was named for somebody. (IE WC Fields). The two-letter name implies variability, and indeed the star does vary between magnitudes 5.4 and 6.1.
