Ah, polkas! Orin, when I was in college, my friends and I used to polka on weekends at a place called Blob's Park. It was a German beer garden with a dance hall and live music set down in a field. Such fun! I met my first love there; had I known Blob's was going to close this year, I'd have suggested we all go for one last dance!

Back in the day; there were a lot of polka bands that made their rounds through the nearby dance halls! I loved it when the Six Fat Dutchmen came through! :D

I was looking for an old polka called the chicken polka; (not to be confused with the chicken dance) ;alas I couldn't find it but here is the clarinet polka! :D

Ah, ok. I'm half Polish from my father and half 'Swamp Yankee' according to my mother, whose roots were traced back to the Mayflower. So even though I'm half Polish, i don't listen to Polka's. I guess the Swamp Yankee part cancels out the Polish Polka part. :lol2:
