I deleted my post because I realized that its content was copyrighted and, as bystander said, the image must be from APOD.

May bad.

Its definetley an APOD, i never clicked through, its in the full list of original APODs so no cheating on my part. Your right though, the image does contain a belt of venus, but it also contains a sunset and sunrise. SOMEONE must get it now!

It sure looks like the Belt of Venus. Could it be a sunset on Mars (though they tend to be bluish)?

Welcome to the game, let me explain the rules. The object is to guess which APOD the crop comes from. Whoever guesses right gets to post the next one.

If there are no objections, I'd be happy to post one.

Well, I see this primarily black and yellow picture is not obvious..that's good. I purposely picked a crop that would have buried information in it, but I feared it might be too much. That appears not to be the case. Unless any of you are foaming at the synapses for an immediate clue, I'll provide one in a few days.

I don't think I'm giving away the farm here, but here is a clue. Those yellow things? Our buddy harry would likely call them roos :)

Given you're stuck on what next to do,
Yes, it's time for another clue -
Let's not despair and this image abort,
Instead what's up with that yellow roo,
And just why does it appear to distort?
In this crop, an insidious click-thru

you failed (unless you wanned it to be just a little, tiny bit less frustrating).

Thanks for the positive perspective, but no, I failed miserably...
There were one or two "easy" keywords that I thought would take you there, but they don't. I'm actually bummed that it was this hard (and likely frustrating).

I'll give another clue: The cropped graphic illustrates a process that might help find exoplanets.
