hi! i have two questions...would appreciate if could get answers or sources to go to.
How do the telescopes(radio or optical) in an array act as a single telescope? what is the technic, math, enginering, logic behind it.
How is the data from a radio telescope translated into a picture? The color is assigned. That is fine but is the sky photographed in x-ray or gamma rays just like the way a photo is taken in the visible spectrum or is the data-frequency, more like oscillating lines showing the changing frequencies- translated into photoes...in short: What is the process? How does a radio telescope work? how is a photo developed from the data collected? With thanks, N
