CONCAM network settings and requirements

Post by lior » Fri Aug 20, 2004 3:09 pm

In order to connect a concam node to the NSL network, a static IP that is publicly visible is should be assigned to the CONCAM computer. In order to operate the system, the firewall (if one is used) should open ports for ssh and scp (used for file transfering to the server). If ssh or scp cannot work, concam will be unusable.

CONCAM does not host a web server, and does not use Hyper Text protocols. Due to software security, no additional software (such as web servers) should be installed.
