Yes, Don Pettit's picture of an amazing aurora over Quebec, also showing the Manicouagan crater.

Don had done some intriguing yet very simple science physics experiments in zero G.

Anyone know what exposure time was used? The earth image looks slightly streaked, as if a long exposure time was used.

I do believe that question is answered on the APOD document. It is also answered here in this thread. (It's not often a student gets to tell the Professor to "Read it", not just look at it. )

As to what exposure? Don may have that answer, ask him?

Space Station Astrophotography, Astronauts onboard the International Space Station are capturing some amazing photos of the night sky.
