The Mysterious Cone Nebula

"One hypothesis holds that the Cone Nebula is formed by wind particles from an energetic source blowing past the Bok Globule at the head of the cone".

I think the object in front of the Bok Globule is causing the effects and maybe creating a zone for the Bok to form.

Maybe I'm seeing things.

Looks almost like a gun muzzle pointing.

Wonder what would happen if one drew a straight line thru the centerline of the cone and extended it past the photograph. Perhaps it would point to an ancient Supernovae " thing " ???? :D

I think it is one of these, ejected from somewhere, and now " punching thru " a cloud of dust

These two neutron stars were once stars that shed their outer skin.

It is possible for them to grow another skin or possibly unite and form a larger star.

Nice image
