Some oh my Sweet 100's have ripened! They are so sweet; that they don't make it to the house! Of course they just started ripening; so I'm expecting that I won't keep up with them!

Blackberry heaven! This year turns out to be my best year with my Blackberries! They are lush, plump and very sweet! Of course the birds aren't beating me to them!

Re: garden
It's hard to get around much anymore; so I suggested that next year we would only put in a couple of cucumber plants and let some volunteer tomatoes sprout up! She thought we could at least have a cherry and a large tomato plant! She knows how much I love cherry tomatoes! Well I guess I have been overruled! Gotta love her!

It's a little sad and sentimental that you will give up your garden after this year. Of course, as an octogenarian, you have earned your rest. Please keep growing a few flowers, OK? And post a few more pictures of your flowers, and do keep making posts here at Starship Asterisk*!orin stepanek wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:01 am Wow; just about time to pull up my harvest! this of course will be the last year! You know Ann, It's a little early to be thinking about Spring; but, I have been thinking about planting Morning Glories around My whole garden area! Just for fun! I hope my seeds are good!

Re: garden
I tried to grow Morning Glory a couple of years ago, but this plant did not grow very well. True, then I used synthetic fertilizers. But I am a person who is interested in gardening, looking for options and would like to share my experience with others. Summer 2020 I have luxurious azaleas and hydrangeas. I think organic fertilizers, which I make myself on my site, also helped a lot. No, this is not what anyone would think. I just bought myself a composting device. I use the Goplus Compost Tumbler, but in my review I picked up a few options that gardeners might find useful.Ann wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 4:57 amOrin, how lovely! Well, if you want to get a harvest, you need to make an effort. If you do not have the time and desire to do this, then there is even no point in starting to do it.orin stepanek wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 10:21 pm No garden this year; too much work for me!
