Interesting, in this "exaggerated color image" Mars has clouds.

Yes, the clouds have been known about for quite some time. Apparently they were first recorded in 1796. This link has some interesting info:

Norval will probably find that page particularly interesting for the distinct lee wave cloud that formed above a crater in one of the images.

Also, it's common to enhance the contrast of photos or increase the balance of a particular color when examining photos from the Mars rovers to bring out subtle details that might otherwise go unnoticed. Clouds on Mars apparently tend to be rather faint, so this picture at least artistically benefits from being enhanced.
