ISS pass the moon June 3rd 19:01

Post by bibigarf » Fri Jun 05, 2009 7:45 am

Hello
a friend of mine is Amateur Astronomer
he told me the exact time when the ISS suppose to cross the moon
i use the 500D Canon camera ( crop factor 1.6) with lens 100-400mm with with a 1.4x Kenko Telephoto Converter
this equivalent 900mm lens on normal film camera
half an hour before i start the preparation
- i set the camera on tripod
- and i Focus on the moon
- i set the camera to continues mode (in this mode i can take 3 frames at 1 second)
- i wait till 10 second before the exact time ( my friend had a synchronize watch )
- i just press the shutter button and hold it for 20 second
