It is possible a very heavy neutron star just slammed into one that was not neutronized yet ? Plain old mechaqnical collision at galactic speeds ?

Collisions are possible but highly improbable.

And there is no such thing as a very heavy neutron star:

Does anyone know of any spectra of this SNe that are available, on the internet?
