Re: Pets
Thanks all! Sassy was 3mo. old when my son brought her to us shortly after I retired! She was my sole company during the day for years while my wife still worked! What a wonderful friend she was!

We got a new dog the other day from Paws and Claws! They thought she was about 2 years old; she is spayed and up to date on he vaccinations! She is a mixed breed and about half the size that Sassy was! She is a little shy but has very good manners!

Re: Pets
She is very spooky at times, She walks very well when she is on the lead; but gets very frightened at sudden distractions! She will get a lot of love from us and is allready starting to settle down! She loves to set on my lap and also likes to explore her new home!geckzilla wrote:Aww, she still looks guarded in her new environment. Cheer up, Magic! You got one of the good humans.

The local news reiterated the importance of cleaning your dogs paws after a walk in the snow.
This not only gets the harmful salt off but some people use antifreeze to remove snow & ice;
dogs like the taste of antifreeze and will lick it off... possibly killing them.

Magic has taken a strong liking to my wife; follows her everywhere, so Marcia gets to take her outside for her potty breaks! Magic loves to romp in the fenced in garden area off of the patio, and when Marcia puts her leash on; she heads straight for the gate!

And as friendship is a two-way street, it’s only fitting that the scientists are also aiming to develop a reverse headset for humans to bark their way into the hearts of their canine buddies.
