ImageComet C/2012 K1 (PanSTARRS) on September 23 2014 by Radical Retinoscopy, on Flickr

Twenty-four 25 second exposures were stacked before dawn of comet C/2012 K1 (PanSTARRS). A Canon T2i with a 100 mm f/2.0 lens (ISO 800 / f/3.2). Tracking was done with an iOptron Sky Tracker. This elusive comet located deep in Hydra has been low on the eastern horizon and has proven to be difficult to capture. Light pollution, approaching morning twilight and fog have made it an elusive target.
